AbraxSys Low Temperature Fully-Enclosed Industrial NEMA 4X (IP66) LCD MonitorsBaton Rouge, Louisiana - This Monitor series have been designed to take on harsh NEMA 4X environments. With AbraxSys’ new Extreme Low Temperature option the operating temperature range drops considerably allowing operation in frigid conditions as low as -40°C (Which by the way, for you C to F conversion novices, such as myself, is also -40°F) The display has a built in low-power heater that is electronically controlled by temperature sensors and turns on and off at a certain temperature selected by the user. AbraxSys’ extreme low temperature LCD monitor is designed for frozen area processing applications such as livestock processing in a freezer environment.

In-keeping with NEMA 4X standards, the entire series of corrosion resistant monitors are a perfect solution for indoor / outdoor operation and stand up to the rigors of windblown dust and rain, splashing water, hose directed water and disinfecting agents as found in the food process industries.

AbraxSys designed this NEMA 4X (IP66) monitor series in four screen size configurations to cover the needs of most industrial monitor requirements. Available in sizes of 15, 17, 19 and 42" models.
These Rugged monitors share similar specifications with a few exceptions. The 15" monitor comes in at a 1024 x 768 resolution, a 500:1 contrast ratio and a brightness of 250nits. The 17" and 19" monitors have a resolution of 1280 x 1024 and a brightness of 300nits. Contrast ratio sits at 800:1 for the 17" and 700:1 for the 19". All these monitors are capable of 16 million colors, 4:3 aspect ratio, were designed for panel mount applications and offer an optional five wire resistive touch screen. The five wire resistive touch screen will increase operator accuracy and efficiency. AbraxSys’ touch screens are constructed with the harshest environments in mind, allowing for operation with gloved hands and will deliver drift-free operation.

The 42" monitor, designed for VESA mount applications, boasts a bright 500nits screen, 2500:1 contrast ratio, a 1680 x 1050 resolution with an aspect ratio of 16:9 and offers an optional IR touch screen. This 42" monitor offers stunning displays of video, graphics, and text in both highly lit and dimly lit rooms. Adhering to the most stringent professional standards, the 42" viewable large display is capable of running resolutions up to 1680 x 1050 pixels and can be best suited for process monitoring and control rooms in plant floors. This 42” model, with its 178/178 vertical and horizontal viewing angle feature, is ideal for real-time collaborative environments where you can display text, charts, alarms, HMI graphics, live video, and any other appropriate information on the plant floor.

All monitors in this versatile NEMA 4X monitor series will run on AC or DC power and operate at 0 to 50 degrees C. (The Extreme Low Temperature versions will operate at temperatures as low as -40°C)
This AbraxSys’ series with an integrated VGA transmitter can be situated up to 330 meters (just over 1000 feet) from its host computer. This feature makes our NEMA 4X monitor series a perfect solution for outdoor applications such as outdoor advertisements, news or other information at theme parks, train stations, bus stops, retail stores, service stations, banks, cinemas and other outdoor venues.
