AbraxSys Announces the Release of a New 19.6" 8U High Rack Mount LCD Monitor

Baton Rouge, Louisiana- AbraxSys announced today the release of a new rugged 8 units high (8U) rack mount LCD monitor.  This 19.6" model meets a growing demand for high resolution (UXGA) 4:3 aspect ratio 8U high compatible displays.  This is an important need as the availability of legacy 20.1" LCDs with a 4:3 aspect ratio are exhausted.  The manufacturers of the "raw" 20.1" LCDs have all discontinued production. 

This newly released model offers common features as that of legacy 20.1" models such as 1600 x 1200 resolution, 4:3 aspect ratio, 8U high rack mounting, plus much more.  However, the new AbraxSys model, AS196R8U, includes additional advancements such as 700 nits brightnes (compared to 250-300 nits), extended operational temperature ranges, true industrial grade TFT panels, exceptional contrast ratio, and a fast response time.  Additionally, the 19.6" LCD has no "End-of-Life" (EOL) notices forthcoming for the foreseeable future.

The rugged rear enclosure and front mounting panel are fabricated of high-grade aluminum which has been zinc-chromate dipped and then treated with corrosion resistant thermoset UV-stable black powder-coating.  Various add-on features can also be incorporated into each model including:  Sunlight Readability Technology, Extended Operational Temperature Ranges, Alternate Video Input Interfaces, Optical Bonding, Touch Screen, and much more.  This rugged model offers exceptional shock and vibration safeguardsand, is very ruggedly built, and features long-life displays.
