The SRD-XM-104 is an exceptional Daylight Readable, ultra-high-quality, durable LCD. The product boasts a 10.1” viewable area with 1280x800 pixels, 1000 nits luminance, and an impressive 1000:1 contrast ratio. This ruggedized Sunlight Readable monitor is designed for use throughout a wide range of harsh outdoor (and indoor) applications. This harsh-duty display is rigorously tested to ensure compliance with various industry standards and is engineered to withstand the effects of severe temperature environments and direct sun. This model performs well beyond ordinary ‘commercial’ type monitors and is ideal for use in any high ambient light condition, giving you the intensity and brilliance your application requires. Our Multi-touch sensors are typically constructed on a 1.2mm substrate allowing a sacrificial 6mm cover glass, meaning they are durable enough to withstand most impacts and extreme applications. We specialize in harsh-duty touch screens for use in demanding applications where robust impact resistance is paramount. For added protection, we use hardened and laminated glass to optimize the impact and scratch resistance while ensuring high transparency of the panel. Polycarbonate cover glass, while durable, is not stable in sunlight and offers MUCH lower scratch resistance than our hardened glass.
